GENERAL ANAESTHESIA
FNQ Dental & Day Surgery offer patients the option to have procedures performed while they are awake, or asleep using General Anaesthesia. This service benefits patients who become anxious and stressed about dental procedures. The General Anaesthesia is administered by a highly experienced and knowledgeable anaesthetic specialist, with exceptional clinical skills. You will drift off into a relaxed sleep, totally unaware of passing time and the dental procedure being performed and returning with no recollection of the treatment. After a short recovery period, you can comfortably go home in the company of a responsible adult.
General Anaesthesia is perfectly suited for both adults and children (the minimum age is 10 years old and minimum weight of 40kg).
FNQ Dental & Day Surgery have a purpose built Queensland Health approved theatre and recovery for your convenience.
